Kashikoi would soon find his destination in Hi no Kuni, Konohagakure no Sato. It was most satisfying to watch the landscape change as he crossed borders. If ever asked by his fellow villagemen, the Raikage would have no problem admitting that he preferred the trees surrounding Konohagakure over the mountains of Kumogakure. It wasn't long before he and his entourage reached the gates, and after a quick exchange of identification, the Raikage was granted access into the village.
He was finally here. Konohagaure no Sato, the village that decided to take the war directly to the previous Raikage. The assassination attempt failed, but the strain of the battle left the Raikage vulnerable to a once dormant viral disease. However, Kashikoi carried no ill intent in his visit; he was here to settle qualms. He carried no intentions to offer Kumogakure as an ally, neither did he plan to conspire against the other Kage. Though an alliance would have been nice as well. After all, it seemed as if Konoha and Kumo were the two strongest villages.
He stood at the gates of the village as he awaited the Hokage's presence. He was told that Konoha's leader would approach him rather than vice versa. It was understandable though. War had ended not too long ago so security would naturally be tighter. Then there was also the fact that that Konoha's assassination attempt during the war was still on Kumo's mind. Kashikoi could only imagine the fear the Hokage's advisors may have held; the paranoia that Kashikoi was seeking vengeance.

Squishy traveled to Konoha in an aggravated mood, he traveled with a guard which meant that it took him much longer to get there then it would normally. Although he hated it he wore his Kage robes and hat which only increased his irratation level. At least one thing was right though, he had the nuibari sheathed on his waist on his left side, his advisors told him it would be disrespectful to carry so many revealed weapons, so he left his case of 100 normal swords back in his office. He did still have the scroll of 100 normal swords strapped to his Nuibari's case though, his aggitation ebbed away as water turned to plains, and plains turned to trees, they had arrived at last.
As he entered the village and waited for his guards to sort out the whole identity thing he spotted two children playing near the gates. He walked up to them and smiled, "hey kids would you like some candy" he handed them candy from his pocket they were hesitant to eat it but when he took one out his pocket and ate one they felt it ok to do the same. "Hey mister are you really a Kage", the younger looking boy asked him, "Yup I'm the Mizukage of Kirigakure no Sato" the boys looked at him in wonder. It was then that his guards cleared their throat trying to get his attention, "Mizukage-sama it would seem we are not alone" he nodded his head behind him, as Squishy craned his head to look around his bodyguard he noticed what was clearly the Raikage. He smiled again as he walked over, "why hello there Raikage-sama". Squishy's care free attitude was apperant by his greeting as his tone clearly stated the more the merrier.
"What brings you to this neck of the woods". He decided to engage in polite conversation until the Hokage graced them with his presence. He guessed that the Raikage was here for the same reason he was here, an alliance. But there was always the option that he came to attack instead, in which case Squishy didn't think he would tell him the truth. He was hoping the fact that he was there and ready to accept an alleigance with Konoha would stop the Raikage if he was planning to attack the Hokage. As that thought crossed his mind he wondered if that was the true reason behind his invitation.

Shi-rudo lay lazily under the shade of a tree, he never liked doing work and today was no exception. He was wearing Kage robes and hat as well as his mask so that the only thing anyone could see was the ruby red of his always active Sharingan. He had trained uncharacteristically hard to make it so that his sharingan took only a minimal amount to sustain, it was then that heard his advisors calling for him, he wondered if that meant his guest had arrived, "I'm going" he spokein a bored drawl. He hoped they were both there because if not it would be too much of a pain to explain himself again, as the two kage came into view he smiledunder his mask, at least he wouldn't have to repeat himself.
He walked up to the two kage holding out his right hand for both of them to shake. He spoke to theraikage first, "I hope we can put the past behind us, I do not wish to renew my father, the previous hokage's fight" before he had a chance to speak he lookedtoward the mizukage and spoke. "It is nice to meet you finally", his voice no longer bored, "our villages have been quite friendly lately I hope that continues"he then spoke to them both "I have a couple things I wanted to talk with you about, please follow me to the training grounds just outside the village please".He would explain why he brought them here while they walked.

The Raikage's brow would peak just at the sound of the Mizukage's voice. He was a man that Kashikoi had the pleasure of fighting on few occasions during the war. Like himself, the Mizukage carried his dark skin with pride, and he cherished his swords even more. He was sure the two would have made good friends had they been from the same village, however; there always seemed to be tensions between Kumo and Kiri. Maybe they could be the first generation of Kage to calm that storm?
"Hello to you as well Mizukage-dono," Kashikoi would reply. He would have given a bow had it not been for their environment. "Business is what brings me here," the Raikage would continue, "business to settle qualms with the Hokage, if he will allow me. Though, I suppose his advisers fear I'm here for revenge. It's the only reason plausible enough to explain why I'm waiting here. Speaking of which, why are you waiting here?"
Unfortunately, his question may have been cut a little too short, for the Hokage was now abroad. Like the Mizukage and himself, the leader of Konohagakure no Sato came dressed in his Hokage robes, hat set firmly on his head's top, and his trademark mask placed firmly on his face. "That is the reason I am here Hokage-dono. They say the sins of the father become the sins of the son, but every generation marks the opportunity to become anew."
He listened as the Leaf's sovereign continued to speak, making notice of how well there villages were getting along. Of course, that statement was indeed true, however; there were still tensions flaring. If anything, the Kage seemed to get along with one another a lot more easily than the citizens and shinobi of their respective villages.
It seemed that the Hokage wanted them in the training grounds. The sound of the two words themselves managed to work up something in the Raikage. He always found himself asking which of the three Kage were the fastest. They were labeled the Speed Demons, a name that was far from self proclaimed-- for Kashikoi at least. Maybe that's what the Hokage wanted. Maybe he wanted to test the speed of his eye against the speed of Kashikoi's Bunshin.

Squishy zonned out for awhile but he figured he knew what was said, if he was right then he would have nothing to add really, as they walked he didn't know where they were going due to his lack of paying attention. He was more concerned about where those two children had gone, they had left without saying goodbye and that always caused him to worry, he shook it off knowing that Konoha was probably the safest place for children, this village was so rarely ever attacked. "So we are here for an alliance right, I wasn't really paying attention. Also where exactly are we going", as they walked he told his escorts to go off and rest he hated how they followed him everywhere, as he said this they eyed the two other Kage suspciously. "I trust them, besides you two would be no match for them anyway they don't share the title the three speed demons with me for nothing they could kill you 15 times before you realised the even moved."
They were in the training grounds now and the Hokage stopped so he assumed this was there stop, he was glad to see this because one of the reasons he wanted to except this alliance was for the chance to settle the great debate, out of the three speed demons who was fastest; the Mizukage who managed to steal the secrets of the flying thunder god technique, the Hokage who had eyes that teleport him anywhere almost instantly, or the Raikage who mastered the bunshin to the point where he was known to all as Kakashi of the cloud. A smile spread across Squishy's face, he could not help it he had to suggest it, it was the perfect oppurtunity.
"Before we start I suggest we spar. I know we have all wondered which of the three speed demons is the fastest at one point or the other. Although this would not be a definite answer I think it is about as close as we will ever get. They call us speed demons for a reason, a fight between the three of us would be one of the best I have or will ever be a part of. I know I am not the only one who was thinking it". Sesshoukage's age was showing in his eagerness for this fight but he did not mind although he is young he was the best for the job.

Shi-rudo suspected that the mizukage would be the one to suggest a fight, if truth be told he wanted it as well but didn't want to be the one to say something, he was far too lazy to explain thoroughly why they should fight. He did not have the proper energy to create a blood boiling speech at the moment, he was glad that the mizukage had already done that, but now that the fight was only moments away the lethargy was lifting off of him, it was as if his joints and limbs became lighter, and he became very aware of how much energy he had stored in his body. "Yes the reason I have brought you here is for an alliance, I feel as if our three villages can prosper from helping each other out. As for your request mizukage I would love to spar with the two of you however". He looked at both kage as he paused his eyes lingering on the raikage for a fraction of a second longer. "I would like your answers to the alliance as well as your guarntee that no harm will come to my village or its inhabitants".

"I apologize Hokage-sama, but I can not accept your request for an alliance. As odd is it may sound, that is not what I am here for," the Raikage began. It was in his best interest to stick to his original reason for coming here. "I came here to settle qualms, not ally with you. Granted, I also can not assure that your village will go unscathed. Things happen over the course of time, and I am man enough to know that if Konohagakure does anything to cross Kumogakure again, we'll make sure to send a statement to the rest of the Shinobi World." Of course, half the things that Kashikoi said were not supported down to the tee, but a convincing poker face never hurt.
"Now, about this spar," came the Raikage as he donned the Kage hat on his head, "I've never been one to worry about which of use were the fastest, yet, now that we're all here, I can't help but speculate. Which of the Speed Demons is really the fastest? I feel like a school kid." Kashikoi would finish his statement with a chuckle.
A series of hand seals would find the Raikage preparing one of his signature jutsu. As his hands crashed against the ground, the seal would arise, and, in it's stead, twenty, Ration attracting scarecrow would appear on the battlefield. With another set of seals, the scarecrow would form into Bunshin, set with their own, albeit small, chakra network. "The field is set for me men. I guess you have your own preparations Squishy? If so, I'll leave the first attack to you."
With that, his Bunshin would begin to spread out across the battlefield, one about ten feet to each of his sides (front, back, left, and right) and the other sixteen surrounding the battlefield with about ten to twenty feet between each shinobi and each, individual Bunshin.
