VillageName: Herugakure no Sato (Vilage Hidden in Hell)
Village Location: Between the peakes of two of the highest mountains.
Village Age: 10 years old
Current Lord: Lord Koumori
Village Symbol:
Special Forces: Because the village is just a haven for Missing ninja at this point there are no special forces (this may be subject to change).
Miscellaneous Info: The strengths of this village is that all the members of the village so far are hardened ninja criminals. However due to that it will take some time for them to gain any kind of Unity. Also according to Lord Vamp's plans this village will be the enemy of all other villages (though as of now the village's exsistence is just a rumor)
Appearance of the Village: Between the peaks of two mountains sits a village, sitting in between the two crevices of the mountain tops provides the village with the protection of having only one way out as well as in, unless they attempt to trek the perilous mountain sides which are dangerous even for the best of Shinobi. These two mountains can be easily seen from both the grass country and the iron country.
The way into the village is passing through a natural cave that has formed at the base of one of the mountains, this cave snakes a path through the mountains and up to the surrounding area around the village. This path is not a leisurely stroll through the park either, although once you get used to the dangers of the path you can traverse it really without too much harm coming your way. The path itself is dark and maze like making it very hard to find your way through if you don't know where you’re going. Also there are the animals in the path, even to the villagers who have passed through the paths numerous times they know not to cross the animals, Although they are not violent in nature if they feel threatened then they will defend themselves and quite ably.
After making it through the path the traveler would find themselves in a meadow of grass with a beautiful view of the mountain tops that surround the village, although the mountains and the cavern path provide the village with a good defense against sneak attacks the village itself is surrounded by a natural stream that circles around the village itself, much like a moat, this moat was a natural occurance and was the reason Vamp decided to place the village here. Due to this the moat is considered a historical monument as well as a defensive construction, there is a drawbridge that allows passage over the moat, the bridge itself is usually down only being up when there is a war or other dangers like that, once you pass over the bridge you can see the gates as well as the outer wall of the village, both huge and very beautiful as well as intimidating. The gates are decorated a fiery hell red with the village symbol on it, the front gate as well as the surrounding walls are made of a very sturdy and beautiful albeit intimidating red granite making it seem as if the walls themselves are made from fire. On both sides of the gates stand two statues one on each side, these statues are all tall enough that the heads of each reach over the gates. These statues are of lord Vamp the leader of Soragakure the first being on the right of the gate while the second is on the left, if there were ever to be another leader their would be another two statues so that their statue can look over and protect the villagers at all times.
The walls of the village are made of the same red granite as the gate, and is decorated with various things including demons, devils, and dragons. from close up one would feel as if they are peering directly into the depth of hell, watching the denizens frolick, as well as the fires burning. These decorations have two purposes, the first is to make the wall look, for lack of a better word, scary, and the second is to hide the markings used for the unique seal placed on the walls. This seal does not really guard from direct attacks or even indirect attacks for that matter, it does however protect the village from one of the weaknesses it may have, due to the fact the village has no roof if someone were to manage a way over one of the cliffs the village would be susceptible to airborne attacks, to make sure this does not happen the seal was created. It creates a barrier around the air space of the entire meadow, making an airborne infiltration or attack impossible, it actually acts as a cover virtually making it possible to walk from one cliff top to the other, while looking down upon the village however nothing can pass through, the barrier itself is at the very top most part of the two peaks making it three hundred feet above the village. Being placed on the actual walls of the village it also makes the immediate air space around the village a no go as well, making it impossible for attacks from outside to reach the inside from over the gate. However the seal works in a way that from the inside of it you can pass through, so that attacks from the inside can reach the outside through the air. To break the seals one would have to destroy what they rest upon, so either the two mountain peaks or the actual walls of Sora.
The gates are always open unless it is a war time or a time of stress. However that does not mean that anyone can just walk in the village as they see fit. There are always two ninja stationed at the door to make sure no unwanted visitors enter. They are not the only guardsmen though, at any given time there will be about five or six hidden ninja watching over the door as well. Sora may be a criminal village but they are not stupid and they are very cautious.
Upon finally entering the village of Sora the visitor will find the market, the market was decided to go first because in case their was ever an invasion the people of the village would retreat into the village, while the ninja proceeded forward, also if the outermost part of the village was destroyed it would just be the market instead of the peoples homes. The shops vary in shape size and color, and although they are mismatched there is a beauty to them that can only be found in diversity. The shops all sell various things, from weapons, to food, to clothing, making the wares of the market just as diverse as the buildings if not more so. When in the market you can smell all the different types of food and it can become overwhelming at times but in a good way. The only none missing ninja invited to stay in the village are those that own some type of shop or something so any none ninja will be here.
After passing the markets visitors will come upon the military buildings, meaning the academy(not used as of now), the holding cells(for POWs), along with various other buildings that ninjas use in their day to day. Compared to the market these buildings are much more similar to each other, all rectangular in shape with midnight black roofs. These buildings are made from the same stone as the walls of the village, though not as thick, nor decorated, one still feels as if they are gazing at fire, this gives the buildings added sturdiness in case of attack. These buildings were chosen to be in the middle of the village so that no matter where the danger is the military will be the same distance away from anywhere they need to go, Also it gives them the added bonus of being able to scan the entire village, as these are some of the tallest buildings in the village besides the lords residence when on the roofs of these buildings a ninja with good eyes will be able to make up the entire village. This district is called the herushura district, no one spends a lot of time in the district unless they are ninjas seeing as how all of the buildings are used for ninja purposes.
Next is the civilian district where the residence of the village live, this is also where the hospital was built, the houses here are built of the same granite as the walls though they use various different colors ranging from black, to blue, to red, and everything in between, The hospital was put here due to it being in the very back of the village which is by far the hardest part to get to, making it almost impossible to destroy even in an invasion. The village leader building is also here toward the very back. It is fiery red and by far the biggest building in the village it looks as if it can be a part of the back wall, due to it being the same color and thickness as the village walls. It was created this way so that during an invasion the villagers can hide out inside of it, it is big enough to hide the entire population (more or less) inside of it, though they won't be too comfortable. The building's inside is a maze much like the path to get to the village, although those who lived in the village long enough know where to go when inside. Making the villagers especially the ninjas good when it comes to finding their way through things, their sense of direction is top notch.
The streets are all made of the same granite rock as the walls and buildings. However, it is smoothed much more then the walls and buildings, making the floor as smooth as marble. This was done to reinforce the idea that Heru is actually made from pieces of hell. When walking through Sora anyone will feel like they are actually walking on fire.
Village Customs and Culture: For the most part villagers in Heru believe different things. Also they don't really share in any customs. However, one thing they all believe in is power. Due to this ninja from here due to being missing-nin do not have ranks like Genin or Jounin. Instead they seperate their ninja through a classing system similar to missions E,D,C,B,A, and S.
Climate: Due to being above the clouds it is always sunny in Heru. though it is somewhat colder in Heru then most other places even in the summer. However it is not so cold that you need to wear multiple layers.
Village History: The Villages History is a very short one. Vamp whom was once apart of Iwagakure found out the truth behind why the greatest peace in the world broke up. This truth haunted him so much that he decided that the world once again needed a bad guy that they would have to unite to defeat. He promised himself that he would be ok with being hated. He also told himself that once the villages united he would stand the test of time unlike Madara who disappeared. In order to do that he needed a legacy and a strong one. That is when he decided that he would rally all the missing ninja and unite them, so that even if he fell there would be someone there to take his place. He also knew that he would need a place to have his untied criminal nation and that was when he discovered the land that would become Heru. Since then Heru became a thriving village with it's own market. Although he has yet to create the unity he would need to challenge the united shinobi front his plan is in motion.
Clans: Due to the village being missing ninja from various ninja there are no clans here not full clans anyway.
Village Items or Jutsu: Same as the clan
