A jinchuuriki is a shinobi, however fortunate or unfortunate, whose body is a prison for one of the nine demons. The demons have the ability to grant its host much power, though it comes at a price. The life of a jinchuuriki can be more difficult than one could imagine, as many people fear the demons within. All Jinchuuriki will be granted with above average chakra reserves, the more tails the beast have the more chakra it has, however the more chakra the harder it is to control.

Ichibi - One Tailed Demon

Like all tailed beasts, Shukaku has an enormous supply of chakra compared to most ninja. However, it does not have as much as the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox. Shukaku has the power over wind, in which it uses to perform powerful attacks such as the Wind Release: Drilling Air Bullet; the ability to manipulate sand, using it as an effective weapon; and can perform the Tailed Beast Ball. At fully-released form, Shukaku's body is completely made of sand; as such he can ignore most damage that would otherwise be detrimental, as shown when he had one of his arms chopped off by Gamabunta and was still able to keep on fighting. Whenever Shukaku is sealed into its jinchūriki, it has the ability to eat away its host's personality, and influence him or her with its bloodlust behaviour whenever he or she sleeps, which leads its host to develop insomnia.

Nibi - Two Tailed Demon

Not much is known about the Two-Tails' power. It has flexible muscles, granting it great speed despite its large size. Its brute strength is enough to force Kakuzu to use his Earth Release: Earth Spear to survive its attacks. It is also able to create a fire ball which was strong enough to destroy the sewer they were fighting in and the the building above where they were fighting which was huge. The flames of the Nibi are so hot they burn blue.

Sanbi - Three Tailed Demon

Like all Tailed Beasts, it has an enormous amount of chakra compared to most ninja and can form the Tailed Beasts' ultimate attack, the Tailed Beast Ball. It is also very fast swimmer despite its size, given its affinity for water. it could roar to repel attacks; it could produce a large tidal wave that spread away from it in all directions. It also has hardened skin that is much more resistent to attacks. It could also produce a hallucinogenic mist that exploited the victim's insecurities and forced the victim to face them. It could also shoot two powerful chakra infused water balls at the same time.

Yonbi - Four Tailed Demon

Not much is known about the Four-Tails' power, except its ability to mix its earth and fire natures, and shoot lava from its mouth; a nature which hasn't been seen outside the realm of kekkei genkai. The jinchuriki of this bijuu cannot have any other elemental affinity then earth and fire.

The Gonbi has the ability to move as fast as a swift release user for short periods of time both on and off land. The beast also has the ability to fire lightning which the would be mediated through the jinchuuriki's hands.

Rokubi - Six Tailed Demon

Like all Tailed Beasts, it has an enormous amount of chakra compared to most ninja and can form the Tailed Beasts' ultimate attack, the Tailed Beast Ball. Its majority of moves come from its slime, which makes its harder for blunt attacks to work against the body. It also has a variation of slime which is poisonous; the poison causes great pain to whomever it comes intob contact with. The slime is also highly flammable.

Like all Tailed Beasts, it has an enormous amount of chakra compared to most ninja and can form the Tailed Beasts' ultimate attack, the Tailed Beast Ball. The beast also has the ability to use all elemental chakra natures.

Hachibi - Eight Tailed Demon

Oxtopus || Kumogakure

The Eight-Tails was said by Kisame to be the second strongest of the tailed beasts. With its great supply of chakra, it can fire massive chakra blasts. During Naruto's battle with the Nine-Tails within his subconscious, it was shown that the Eight-Tails had enough strength to temporarily restrain and contain a direct Tailed Beast Ball from the Nine-Tails, but was knocked out of the battle afterwards because of it.It is able to endure being burned by Amaterasu for a considerable amount of time. Its tentacles offer it several additional appendages with which to interact with its surroundings and strike targets, but they are also easily severed. Even with its s immense size, it has shown a high level of speed when it attacks, and even fast enough to block Amaterasu with its fist. A single Tailed Beast Ball from it could penetrate nine of the thirty-six barriers without even exploding. Going with its octopus theme, it can also produce ink to blind opponents. It is also known to be very intelligent.

Kyuubi - Nine Tailed Demon

As the Nine-Tails' jinchūriki, it is gifted with enormous supply of chakra and stamina, accelerated healing (recovering from minor injuries within a few seconds to major injuries within a day), and depending on the amount of the Nine-Tails' chakra he's using, also given an increase in strength, speed as well as a nearly impenetrable, fox-shaped chakra shroud. Being the strongest of the nine tailed beasts, the Nine-Tails is said that it can create tsunamis and flatten mountains with just a single swipe from one of its tails. With its massive supply of chakra, it can turn its roar into a powerful shock wave that can repel and destroy anything within its radius, increase its physical strength and speed, and fire Tailed Beast Balls. In the anime, it was shown to be able to create twisters and breathe fire. It is stated that the Kyuubi is extremely fast. the Nine-Tails also has the ability to sense negative emotions.
