Name of Contract: Chidori's Bond

Name: Raikurai
Element: Raiton
Type: Plover
Rank: B
Appearance:
Raikurai is larger than his wild counterparts standing at four feet tall, legs to head. The creature has a very simple feather color pattern. It's feathers under it's belly to it's sides and back are white, some white feathers encircling the crown of it's head. From it's neck up to it's head the bird has very dark black feathers. The feathers on it's wings are a lighter black capable of passing as a dark brown and it's legs are thin and pink. It's beak is a dull, light red and becomes black at it's tip. At the back of Rakurai's head is a stem of feathers that curves into the air.
Personality:
Raikurai is the leader of the trio of brothers and carries an air of confidence to match his position. Because he is the leader of the group, he is often the one that acts the most serious. In fact, he is the only one of the three that acts serious. To parallel his serious attitude is the fact that he usually scolds his youngest brother Denki when he acts childish. He is also pretty stubborn in his ways when he makes up his mind. This stubbornness becomes helpful however when he dictates Kashikoi's orders to his two brothers.
Abilities:
Chidori
Being the originators of the technique, and the inspiration for the human variations, the plovers are capable of surrounding their bodies with Raiton chakra. The technique begins with the bird rising to an elevated height to gain the necessary speed to accomplish the technique. Once the elevation is acquired, the bird will surround it's body in Raiton chakra and nosedive at either their target or the ground. If diving toward the ground, the bird will pull up at just the last second, using the speed to supply the strength needed to perform this technique (this is the equivalent to a person's thrusting power). If successful, the bird's beak will impale the foe, delivering a paralyzing surge of electricity throughout their body.
Habataku Chidori [Flapping Chidori]
Out of the tree brothers Kaminari, Raikurai, and Denki, the Flapping Chidori is unique to Raikurai. The same as with the regular Chidori, Raikurai first surrounds his body in Raiton chakra. After the Raiton chakra is accumulated, he then focuses it into his wings. With the Raiton chakra now in his wings, he can either release in three electrical waves the size of a stretched out bed sheet, or one large wave. If the waves hit the opponent, they can either kill, stun, or paralyze, all depending on the amount of chakra used.

Name: Kaminari
Element: Raiton
Type: Plover
Rank: B
Appearance:
Kaminari is larger than his wild counterparts standing at three feet, five inches tall, legs to head. The creature has a very intricate feather color pattern. The majority of this bird's feathers are a tan-nish color. From it's mid body up the feathers are a very dark black.Leading up to his neck, the color turns from tan to wavy, black and white stripes. At the top of his head is a white patch of feathers. On the place where said feathers and his dull, golden, black-tipped beak meet is a protrusion of red feathers. His legs are thin and yellow.
Personality:
Kaminari is the oldest of the three brothers. Being the oldest, he commonly acts as a mediator when arguments between his two, younger brothers arise. As a result of being a mediator for so long, Kaminari has developed a calm, rather relaxed, personality. Ironically, this often leads to Raikurai scolding and arguing with Kaminari as well for not being serious enough. Being the most mature of the group, Kaminari has no problems following the orders of Kashikoi. While Raikurai would prefer standing nobly on a perch and Denki would prefer swimming in a bird bath, Kaminari prefers to sit in the sun or, if available, the shade.
Abilities:
Chidori

The technique begins with the bird rising to an elevated height to gain the necessary speed to accomplish the technique. If successful, the bird's beak will impale the foe, delivering a paralyzing surge of electricity throughout their body.
Kaminari no Boisu [Voice of Thunder]
Voice of Thunder is a Genjutsu technique utilized and unique to Kaminari. Although it is a sound based Genjutsu, the sound has to be directed in a linear direction and the target has to be in sight. The technique begins with Kaminari accumulating chakra in his throat. Once accumulated, the chakra is expelled as a linear sound wave. Those unaffected will here the bird's chirp, but the one affected by the Genjutsu will hear the sound of thunder. The sound will affect the person the way a lion's roar affects it's prey, a paralysis of fear. This paralysis lasts for only two seconds.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Denki
Element: Raiton
Type: Plover
Rank: A
Appearance:
Denki is larger than his wild counterparts standing at three feet, five inches tall, legs to head. The creature has a very simple feather color pattern, yet it is more intricate than his older brother's, Raikurai. It's feathers under it's belly are white, some white feathers lead from his upper belly to the place that humans would consider the cheeks. From it's mid body up the feathers are a very dark black. The feathers on it's wings are a more tan-nish color capable of passing as a light brown and it's legs are thin and black. It's beak, like the majority of his fur, is black.
Personality:
Denki is the youngest of the three brothers and as such tends to be more energetic-- a trait that Raikurai has called childish. This energetic nature often leads to Denki arguing with and being scolded by his older brother Raikurai. This is a trait that has made him Kashikoi's favorite of the three. Because of this friendship, Denki has no trouble following the orders given to him Kashikoi. He also very carefree and free -spirited, showing friendliness to anyone unless his brothers or Kashikoi give him reason not too.
Abilities:
If successful, the bird's beak will impale the foe, delivering a paralyzing surge of electricity throughout their body.
Chidori Nagashi [Chidori Current]
By releasing the Chidori in every direction, an electrical discharge flows from the Denki's entire body allowing him to affect multiple enemies. When using this attack on a great number of enemies at once, it can effectively double as an instant defense. The body of the person touched by the Chidori will misinterpret the Lightning nature as electrical signals from the nerves, making its muscles contract. This causes the body to involuntarily go stiff, while at the same time receive damage. This will also neutralize other lightning techniques so long as they are not more powerful.
Chidori Eisō [Lightning Release: Chidori Sharp Spear]
The original Chidori gained its power by shaping it into a form sufficient for an electrical discharge and using it together with the user's own "thrust". This technique uses Shape Transformation to form the original Chidori into a spear/blade shape, adapting it for mid-range attacks. It also has the advantage of being able to be used for surprise attacks and capturing. When the enemy's body is pierced the user can alter the spear's shape into multiple additional blades increasing the number of wounds. The blade can also be swung in order to cut things as well as cause fatal injuries.
Collaboration Jutsu:
Genjutsu: Raikurai, Kaminari, and Denki [Illusionary Technique: Lightning, Thunder, and Electricity]
Illusionary Technique: Lightning, Thunder, and Electricity is a Collaboration Genjutsu used by the brothers Raikurai, Kaminari, and Denki with their summoner, Kashikoi, being a catalyst/trigger. The Genjutsu takes one post to prepare, as the birds sync their chakra to the same amount as well as tune their voices to the same frequency, and when finished preparing, the three brothers let out a simultaneous chirp, however; the Genjutsu doesn't take effect until the target sees Kashikoi's Chidori.
The first part of the Genjutsu (Raikurai) affects the victim's sight. Upon seeing the Chidori, the victim will see the Raiton chakra spread from Kashikoi's hand to surrounding his body, creating the illusion of a literal Thunder Bird. This Thunder Bird then flies toward the victim in an attempt to make contact. If contact is made, the second part of the illusion takes affect.
The second part of the Genjutsu (Kaminari) takes affect after the Bird makes contact. The victim will experience paralysis that will leave him/her frozen in place. The paralysis lasts for two to five seconds. Then there is the third part of the Genjutsu (Denki). This part of the Genjutsu serves to supplement the paralysis affect to make it last three seconds longer as well as making it harder to break. The true purpose of the Genjutsu is to hold the victim in place while Kashikoi pierces them with his Chidori.
The Genjutsu is done in a way that the Thunder Bird always reaches the victim five seconds before Kashikoi's Chidori does. However, someone skilled in Genjutsu can still break the illusion within enough time to notice and dodge the attack. The major weakness of this technique is that this is Genjutsu is actually three Genjutsu stacked atop one another, so, if the Thunder Bird misses, the Genjutsu is rendered void.
Raiton: Kussaku Chidori [Lightning Release: Drilling Chidori]
Lightning Release: Drilling Chidori is a Collaboration technique between the three brothers, Raikurai, Kaminari, and Denki. The technique begins like the regular Chidori as the three birds rise into the sky. Once the elevation has been reached, the three birds lock talons and perform and dive toward the opponent. During this dive the three brothers sync chakra and cover their bodies with Raiton chakra. They then begin to spin creating a Chidori in the shape of an over sized drill. This Chidori is one shot technique because of the amount of chakra used. The drawback to the technique is that the bird's can't see while spinning so they strike the spot where the target last was, whether they are still there or not.
Raiton: Dai Chidori [Lightning Release: Great Chidori]
As the name suggests, this technique produces a stronger version of the Chidori. Each of the brothers perch themselves onto Kashikoi's body, one on the left shoulder, one on the right shoulder, and one on the head. Once in position, the four begin to sync their Raiton chakra as Kashikoi forms the hand seals for, and produces, the Chidori. Although not differing in size, the Chidori gains an increase in power from the Raiton chakra of the three birds. This Great Chidori is capable of piercing any defense B-rank and below as well as anyone or anything behind it.
However, Kashikoi suffers a great chakra drain and can only use this technique once in a fight. This technique also has another use. If Kashikoi is running low on chakra, the three birds can supply the majority of the chakra, allowing Kashikoi to perform an extra Chidori.
Raiton: Tajū Chidori [Lightning Release: Multiple Chidori]
Lightning Release: Multiple Chidori is a collaboration technique performed by the three brothers Raikurai, Kaminari, and Denki and their summoner Kashikoi. The technique consists of the three birds creating multiple Bunshin of themselves. These Bunshin bombard the enemy with attacks while others obscure vision. During this period of distraction, the three brothers rise into the air and begin to surround their bodies in Raiton chakra while Kashikoi forms the Chidori around his hand.
The birds will then dive toward the target, impaling him/her from all directions. Once successful, the birds will surge chakra throughout the victim's body, causing it to become stiff. Once they have done their part, Kashikoi will then charge in to perform a Chidori that will either pierce through the victim for the kill or simply send an electrical pulse through the body to render the victim unconscious. Along with the birds, Kashikoi can create clones of himself to further confuse the enemy. He could also summon a wing of other Plovers to serve as distractions to further confuse the enemy as well.
Notes: This entire app is a pun of Chidori, for Chidori can also be translated as plover. Not only is it a pun of Chidori, but it's also a pun of all things electrical.
