Okashina is man of somewhat small stature, standing at five feet, eight inches tall. His build even less intimidating as is it is built around quickness and flexibility. Overall, the five feet, eight inches tall, one-hundred eighty five pound man appears to be little more than a twig on a rhino's trail, however; anyone foolish enough to judge him by his size is a man deserving to die. His skin is about as pale as skin can appear to be, and his hair is dark and long, extending down to the middle of his back.
Personality:(Your personality should be detailed enough that we can have a grasp of your character. This part guides what your character will say and how they will act in various situations throughout the RP.)
History:Fushigi Okashina began life as the son of a reknown shinobi couple. This couple gained fame in the shinobi world for two reasons: they were arguably the best assassins in the shinobi world, definitely the best in Kumo, and they became masters and skillful appliers of the generic shinobi techniques due not being born with an elemental affinity. Though most people thought that two people in love made a terrible match, the two shinobi actually specialized in letting one another get caught while the other would pretend to make wreck less decisions out of distress. It was a trait that led many of their targets leaking information to taunt the "damsel in distress", allowing them also gain Intel where other assassins would have been unable, and it was skill that would become a past time-- a simple game of Janken (Paper-Scissors-Rock).
It was during their thirties, a decades time after they had begun their careers together, that thoughts of time's toll on their bodies would set in. The shinobi and kunoichi both knew that if they were to ever become parents and bear children they would have to do so soon, while their bodies were young. They both agreed to put their careers on hold, and the Kunoichi would beget Fushigi Okashina nine months later.
Okashina's infant years consisted mostly of his reading to him, as well as other forms of word introduction, in hopes that she could accelerate the boy's ability to learn their vernacular. At the age of one, an infant Okashina had already begun to show signs of word recognition through both sight and sound. Shortly after his second birthday, the boy was capable of reading children's books, and his ability to comprehend what he was reading would come soon afterward.
Shortly before his third birthday, they would begin the boy's first physical training regime. This training regime consisted of his parents stretching the boy's body as well as showing him how to stretch (and finding joy in watching him mimic their motions). By the time Okashina reached the middle of his third year of age, he was able to touch his toes.
By the age of four he had gained enough control over his muscles and body to efficiently stretch himself. With his new age would come a physical training regime that consisted of coordination of both hand and eye, center of balance training, and an introduction on how to use these things in combination with his flexibility. Alongside this was a mental training regime consisting of meditation and advanced studies. The combination of these two were meant to slowly build the boy's chakra reserves as insurance (in case he had an elemental affinity).
This training continued well into his fifth year of life, in which time his parents would add yet another thing to his training: weights. Unlike Taijutsu specialists however, this weight training was designed to increase his posture, center of balance, and reflexes rather than his speed. The training started out basic: five pound weights on his wrists and shins and a ten pound vest on his torso. From herem-, his parents would throw things at him, instructing him to dodge them. Object after object the boy was unable to dodge. It was then that he learned the importance of center of balance and posture.
Okashina continued his training to the point where the weights meant little. He was able to both stand straight as well as keep his center of balance as if the weights were his skin. Seeing this, his parents would then increase the weights by five more pounds.
This style of training continued well into his sixth year of life, in which time he had also entered the academy. By this time, Okashina's weights had increased by fifteen pounds each, and he was capable of near flawlessly keeping his certain of balance, one leg included. With the weights on, Okashina's movements were like a dancer's. He was quick on his feet, he was nimble, and his movements were smooth, however; once the weights came off, Okashina was like a cat: each movement being well practiced and well thought out.
Needless to say, Okashina was the quickest and most nimble student in his class. He thought that he had surpassed his parents' standards, however; they saw otherwise. They would continue his weight training as they had been for the past year and a half, but they would add a twist-- making one side heavier than the other. This would teach the boy how to maintain his posture and center of balance once he found it and, if he couldn't maintain it, to adjust to what he had.
It would also appear that Okashina was amongst the stars of his class mentally. As it turned out, the combination of his mental training regime and the reflex training of his physical training regime had given birth to a sharp, analytical mind. In combat, the boy was capable of quickly reacting to and evading his his opponent's offense as well as strategically picking them. He was arguably the best strategist and analyzer of his class, capable of evasively reacting to enemy offenses and then using the gathered info to dissect them.
Despite his skills however, being a student was no walk in park. He was younger than most of his entire class, and he was at the top of his class in terms of raw skill. As good as this may sound, being so high on the ladder put him on everyone's radar, and his small size only convinced bullies that Okashina was an easy target.
If they attacked him up front, he would out maneuver them with his evasive skills. Compared to his spars with his parents, these kids were slow and their strikes were sloppy. It was easy to evade them. When they learned that beating his evasive skills was impossible, the kids resulted to sneak attacks. This plan failed as well, for Okashina's reflexes were also superior. Not only that, but the bullies had lack luster balance and nimble was far from being their middle names.
It was because they were so sloppy that Okashina was able to ridicule them in front of class. He would trip them or lead them into tripping each other, he would hop onto teacher's desk in a hand stand, and much more. Despite his antics however, the class still teased him for being unable to protect himself. To most of them, he was a coward whose only talent was running away. This would change, sort of, two years later when the class was introduced to weaponry.
Two years had passed since Okashina entered the academy. He was eight years old now and well into his, what his parents now called, assassin training. He was a smooth master of finding, maintaining, and adjusting to his center of balance, his nimbleness seemed even more feline, and his reaction time was higher than before. Like his parents, the boy was capable of learning and applying the generic skills. Coupled with skills he already had, these simple techniques were a lot more dangerous in his hands than his peers.
